Dave Garland
Dave passed away last November 28th, 2020 in Rhyd y Foel woods out on a Saturday morning ride.
The shock remains and the loss is unbearable. He had a heart of gold, never turned anyone away who asked for help. He was truly a gift to anyone who met him. He is sorely missed and his legacy will forever flourish. Please donate to one of the causes below. The month of November will be one of celebration and sadness here at SAR. I have created this page for people to leave their thoughts. I miss Dave so much it is indescribable.

It is here!!!! After I commissioned Upper Oil Can in Dave's memory. Dale Stone graciously rode it and did incredibly, I am floored!!!!
"When Mirka gave me a call and asked if I could film one of Dave's (and my) favourite trails since she couldn't make the trek back to Canada, it was a pretty easy sell. Stoked that this only took one shot to film with a no-dab, top to bottom Upper Oilcan WITH the discombobulator. Sorry it took a few months longer than expected, but I really wanted to nail this one. This one's for you Dave!"
